About the GRAC00C5
Red Lion Model GRAC00C5 is a Graphite Core Controller that allows for Plug-In Input-Output Module Capability. This model is made of cast aluminum and is considered a rugged controller with a built-in control engine. There are many features this controller is equipped with which include but are not limited to, the syncing of data logs to the FTP servers and Microsoft SQL servers, the ability to send SMS and email alerts, and over three-hundred built-in drivers which allows for data mapping of PCs, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
When the GRAC00C5 controller is being operated it requires specific software, the software is Red Lion’s Crimson 3 software; to enable the software on the control a drag and drop maneuver will be performed. The configuration of this software allows for the interfacing of data logging, data tags, virtual displays, as well as protocol conversion.
When powering this controller the power supply needed is in the range of ten to thirty volts of direct current; regarding the power, it is vital to know that this controller can use considerably less power than the max-rated power supply depending on the features the controller uses.
While the GRAC00C5 controller is equipped with Crimson software data transfer must be done through an SD Card connected to the USB port. This controller also has Ethernet through communications that can be used which are either 10 Base-T or 100 Base-TX connections. Along with the 10 Base-T and/or the 100 Base-TX connections, there is also an RJ45 jack which will be wired through to the Network Interface Card (NIC).
All of the above information regarding the GRAC00C5 controller can be found in the GRAC-D Red Lion Bulletin which is attached to the manuals tab above.
